Cancellation And Refund Policy

Effective Date: 2022-06-04

At HH Building Company, we are committed to providing quality workmanship and professional service on every project. Due to the custom nature of construction, renovation, deck, fence, and accessory building services, the following refund policy applies.


Deposits
 

Deposits may be required to secure project scheduling, materials, permits, or labour.

Unless otherwise stated in writing:

  • Deposits are non-refundable once project planning, material ordering, scheduling, permit applications, or work preparation has begun.

  • If a project is cancelled before work has commenced and before materials or services have been committed, partial refunds may be considered at the discretion of HH Building Company.

     

Custom Materials & Special Orders
 

Refunds will not be provided for:

  • Custom-ordered materials

  • Special-order products

  • Permit fees

  • Materials already purchased or delivered

  • Labour already completed

Any eligible refunds related to unused materials may be subject to supplier restocking fees and administrative costs.



Project Cancellations
 

If a customer chooses to cancel a project after work has begun, the customer remains responsible for payment for:

  • Completed labour

  • Materials purchased

  • Work performed to date

  • Any non-recoverable project costs

     

Service Concerns
 

Customer satisfaction is important to us. If you have concerns regarding workmanship or services provided, we encourage you to contact us promptly so we can review the matter and work toward a reasonable resolution.

 

Refund Processing
 

Approved refunds, where applicable, will generally be processed using the original payment method within a reasonable timeframe.

 

Warranty-Related Issues
 

Warranty claims are handled separately from refunds and are subject to the terms outlined in the project contract or workmanship warranty agreement.
